Pritchard Electric Wheels
This portable and affordable Electric Spinner is hand crafted by Jim Pritchard at Herndon Creek Farm. The motor speed has a foot control instead of a rheostat, which makes it a snap to spin at any speed you desire.
Comes with four 8 ounce bobbins and lazy kate, a handcrafted oriface hook and stretchy drive band. It is offered in either Cherry or dark Walnut stain.
For plying, just remove the stretchy drive band from the motor pully, twist it into a figure "8", and slip it back onto the pully.

Matching Lazy Kate
Our matching Lazy Kate is made from the same woods as our wheels, and comes in either Cherry or dark Walnut stain.
It holds three 8 ounce bobbins, and measures 7" high, and 16" wide, a classy companion to your wheel!

Motor
*7,000 rpm electric motor with foot control for hands-free, variable speed control. This allows you to control the speed with precision to fit your spinning expertise or special needs for Novelty yarns like tail-spun yarns where speed flexibility is critical.
* The foot control has a mechanical stop to slow down the motor speed to reduce brake band failure. |
